Course Information

All in-house classes are scheduled within 8-week quarters with an extra week for finals. Lower division classes are worth 3 units each, upper division classes 4 units, Master classes 5 units, and Doctorate classes 6 units. The Master thesis amounts to 10 units, and the Doctorate dissertation 12 units. Our programs for each level are issued as a package. Total package prices depend on the level and any past college and ministry experience you have that may be applicable to your degree. We recognize life experience in ministry and transfer credits from many colleges. Our programs cover pastoral training, counseling, missions and evangelism, and worship leadership. A student is expected to choose an emphasis and may opt to have his or her degree labeled accordingly.

To qualify for upper division status, a student must have an Associates of Biblical Studies degree or the equivalent in credits of lower division classes. We credit classes from other established colleges, both Christian and secular, as well as relevant ministry experience. In order for a student to qualify for Master status, the student must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or equivalent class experience. To be accepted into the Doctorate program, the student must have a Master's degree. Summit Bible College issues Honorary Doctorates for recognized exemplary achievement in Christian leadership; however, there must be a commitment to be a full paying member of our Minister's Fellowship for at least two years.

Dean's List

Students maintaining 9 credits or more per quarter with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher are recognized as being on the "Dean's List." Students having an incomplete in any course or having debts owed to the college are not eligible for this honor until the debts and incompletes are cleared.

Conduct

We expect a good report on the behavioral conduct of our students. Due to the fact that we are a Christian college, we ask that our students set an example that is consistent with our Lord's desire as it is outlined in scripture. The following pledge is a requirement to those seeking participation in our college.

I pledge, to the best of my ability in Christ:

• To uphold the ideals of Christ as an example, which includes a godly lifestyle.
